So, my finantial situation just took an immediate turn for the worse. I am considering trading the car. Only going to accept clean SC400 99-00.

Value wise it is worth it, but I cannot see someone with a perfectly clean 2000 SC daily trading it for a half stripped drift car. I mean don't get me wrong it can happen.... I just can't think of who would. Your car has tons of value ...... in pieces. Surely as much as a 2000 Sc, but package for package your car is best piece by piece if you do get rid of it. I have a V-8, auto tranny, full harness and ecu you could swap in that car to sell it. I mean complete, I even have the body harness if anything is cut. We could turn that into an SC4 in about a day.

There is a 99 SC3 on here for something like 6 something. There is no way I would take less than 10 for my car. The car is worth someone buying it and parting it out to say the least. I mean its got a lot of quality parts on it.

i think you flip cars faster than i do =P I normally buy and sell ... rebuy cars in a 6month period when i get bored.. but based on your signature you probly flipped more than i have in a smaller period of time. good luck looking for a 98-2000 sc400... im looking for one also, i would keep your 6sp tho.

I don't think the ARP flywheel bolts are 90ft lbs.

I think I torqued mine down to 60-70ft lbs(have it written down somewhere, per Chris at BLogic) and used FIPG to seal them up.

Good luck with the car.

OH, you said NICE 99-00 SC. I haven't looked at the one you mention, but a NICE one would be in the $12k -ish range. No way I'd sell the car you have for less than ten.

Come to think of it even though I have sunk a grip of change into my IS300 like most IS owners, you could find a trade on one of those as well if you want to build a really fun car to drift because ten was the price of my IS the day I bought it. (high book was $13k)

And it has Navigation? Thats awsome. I might be able to pick one of those up, but it would have to be a 5 speed

The 5 speed IS300's only hold 300hp before the tranny goes boom. Since the swap is going to happen anyway, most buy the auto which can hold 400hp and drive it on medium boost while building themselves a nice tranny. Nobody boosted runs the stock 5 speed tranny, it won't hold any boost. Since 5 speed cars command a premium it's cheaper to buy an auto and build the tranny like you are going to do anyway.

Yeah that pic was the day I found the car. Bought it the next morning.
