This is my first technical question i have posted.

My cig lighter stopped working. I cant find the cause. Its getting power. I have NEVER seen a cig lighter fail before on any car.

Anyone have this happen? Anyone know an easy fix?
I tried pulling it and it was quite the difficult task, any easy way to extract it?

I would hate to have to run a power line from ignition for my radar, i enjoy just plugging it into the lighter outlet.

My cig lighter doesn't work either. Pisses me off when i'm trying to light a damn cigarette. Sometimes I hold it down and it'll light. But recently my phone charger wouldn't work, so I dont kno for sure if the cigarette lighter is out or not. It may be a sign for me to quit smoking, eh?

My friend tried to plug his Valentine 1 in my car on a short trip and it wouldn't work...

I think you may have a loose connection in the rear of the cig lighter.

To reach the cig lighter/remove it, you have to remove the centre console. I'm sure if you do a search you will find it. Oh, its in the LSOC. http://www.lexusclub.co.uk/

If that does not work, you can try to run a set of wires from the fuse box near the drivers foot well. (Its around where your left shin is) There should be some empty fuse slots there.

My cigarette lighter works too well, in fact when properly heated it ejects two feet in the air and lands every time between the passenger seat and the tranny tunnel. After this happened twice I carry a lighter.
