Chilton Manual

Is those chilton's manuals on Ebay any good?? I plan to only be doing reg maint. on my car and I really don't want to spend the big $$ on the service manuals. I was just curious if anyone has this and if it is any good.

slowtan....I have a 93 Chilton's manual. It has a red SC400 on the cover. Its not anywhere near as complete as the SC service manual. It does cover most basic service and it does have detailed engine info....even looks like the diagrams were copied directly from the lexus manual. I dont think you could go wrong by getting one....But nothing beats the Lexus service manual.

where did you pick up your chiltons manual? I went to autozone and they told me that chiltons never made manuals for Lexus SC400. I have had very good experience with chilton's manuals in the past and love to get my hands on one.
