I rolled all four fenders on my father's 98 SC400 last year when I painted it. The car will remain on stock suspension. The car is currently sitting on 18X8.5 38mm MOMO wheels that I am not fond of. I recently purchased a staggered set of tires for next to nothing and I am curious on whether these tires will fit. I'd really like to clarify this before I pay to ship him the tires from MI to TN. The tires that I purchased for the front are 255/40/18 and the rears are 265/35/18. I was wondering if front could handle a front tire in this size. I know his current 245/45/18 tires have too large of a side wall height but they were damn near free. I tried several searches under wheel fitment as well as searches by tire and rim size but never found anything that really clarified this for me. If anyone has run a similar size wheel and tire on their SC300 or 400 please let me know how and if they worked out without rubbing. Thanks for your guys help in advance.
