I bought mine off eBay, 94mm or 95mm should work.

Thanks... I have an extra set of headlights that are open. I am measuring the inside diameter of the chrome/plastic thing and its 3.25" = 82.55mm. Wouldn't 94-95mm be too big? I did notice that you shaved off the housing a bit and have the ring sitting there. Is that right?

Well I used the 94-95 to make sure I had enough clearance for the projector shroud to adjust. If you are using stock projectors you could probally get a smaller one. They are measured from the OD so keep that in mind. The ID is typically 10-15mm smaller than the OD depending on the ring.
My housing is cut at the bottom to allow the unlit portion of the ring and the wires a place to get out. Most halos have the wire come out the back side.

Yeah. Just going to use the stock projector. Did you get you retrofit from ebay as well? Which kind is it? The only thing I hate with the stock one is that its is kind of sunken in. Wish it was sticking out a bit.

Yep, projector was bought used off ebay, I trashed two shrouds cutting them down trying to keep the chrome perfect. These are the BMW Audi projectors.

And that is the most important thing. Before I even knew about this board, I had plans on building a boosted 6 speed converted SC400 and even though there are a few that have been built, my build idea is still unique and I will proceed with it. Keep up the good work and be sure to post your progress as your build continues.
