Ok ladies and Gentlemen,

I know someone in SC land has encountered the "hissing/spraying" like noise experienced with initial acceleration in either drive or reverse coming from the rear of the vehicle either from or under the subwoofer. The only thing I can think of that is in that area is the fuel pump but why would it be making that noise? And its only briefly...maybe 2-3 seconds and then it quits...

Opinions please... should I worry???

When my stock fuel pump started going bad, it started sounding like a walbro. I then changed it out for an actual walbro 255lph pump. My stock pump started making noise when I drove it on low fuel for too long. I know in tank fuel pumps need the fuel to keep it cool. So when running low fuel for a while, it can cause it to overheat and start going bad.

what up dfwff618! hope you are like your new wheels. hissing/spraying sound,sound kinda weard, i wouldnt think you whould hear it on initial throttle over the motor, even stock but is possible. im sure im going to get a chance to meet you soon. maybe ill get to hear it.
