Thanks for the kind words everyone! When I said modding I meant intake exhaust and a little drop with wheels. Nothing too complicated. I've owned a couple of mkiii supas in the past modified them both and did a 5spd swap on one of them.
This one is going to be babied, I wont be driving it i the winters, just my leasure car.
When I drove it for a first time, I feel like the engine is really stuffed up with the oem filter, so thats the 1st thing I am going to replace, and then will look into tastefully build exaust. I feel like the engine needs to breathe a little better.

A 2000 SC400 is one of the rarest SC's out there....you definitely got a steal at that pric, especially factoring in the condition of the car which for the most part seems prestine from your pictures. If you are going to mod it, please keep it subtle because it is sucha a rare car...no riced out knockoff kits and cheapo wheels.

A couple have posted comments that might seem to imply that most of the guys modding a SC is done by ricers....In some cases, I agree, but there are several that mod and it is definitely not rice.
Perhaps you should just update the car such as the steering wheel, and any other worn parts and keep it stock. Keep the stock wheels, but I still thin you would not hurt the car and do well with some properly offset and sized wheels and tires plus a drop.
That should do it.

Remember we both had an MKIII ? So now we both got the SC's
AGAIN! Ha ha ha i wish we could ride together like the old days but we got 600 mile distace between us
