Default SC300/400 Steering wheels

TO ALL THOSE WHO WANTED STEERING WHEELS PLEASE PM MANARAY IMMEDIATELY SO WE CAN GET THIS GROUP BUY GOING.

Just so we are all kept in the loop, Manaray has created a group buy for us SC owners. Props to him for working this out for us. Here is the link to the thread.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...2&pagenumber=4

To quickly reiterate:

there will be a $150 deposit required on the loaner and a $30 charge for the loaner...basically, once we get the wheel back, you will get a refund of $120.

Also, the prices are I post are for CLUB LEXUS PAID MEMBERS ONLY....here is the break down...

ClubLexus PAID Members:
4-Spoke Wheel - $350 (unless I can get 6+ buyers which will make the price $330)

ClubLexus NON-Paid Members:
4-Spoke Wheel - $380 (6+ NON-Paid Members will make it $360)

Lurkers (Non-Members):
4-Spoke Wheel - $400 (Flat, no quantity discounts PERIOD.)
If you want in please vote and PM me, Hermosa. I will compile a list and give it to Manaray.

This poll is to find out how much discount we can get.

Compare this to up to $2200 for a new wheel for some Lexus models. This opportunity will not come often. Only vote and PM if you will definitely buy the product.

I don't understand, is this just to restitch or replace the factory installed steering wheel? Mine is in perfect condition right now. I wouldn't mind a 2000 SC400 steering wheel though.

This is to put new leather on the steering wheel and add two sections of wood to the top and bottom of the steering wheel. The leather area is made flush with the wood steering wheel by the use of padding. The padding will not affect the feel of the steering wheel unless you want the wheel fatter.

No direct pics of SC400 wheels but the LS400 is just like it. This gives you an idea of their work.

Hands down I am getting it. My wheel bugs me. The wood would accent my car well and will look nice with the new leather seat covers I am getting.

Everything will function as it was they take your wheel and refresh it. I am not sure about the wiring but the airbag stays on the column. Don't quote me on wiring thing.

Hey Hermosa, thanks for spreading the word....

Sorry for not posting here but I figured everyone read the GS forum...

I am having my SC400 wheel done and it should be back in a couple of weeks...I'll have plenty of photos and a review...

Definitely an inexpensive way to improve your interior....

Do they have the option of not having the wood inserts? The wood does not seem to match my factory woodgrain.
