sc400...what should I do with it?
So after having issues with it not starting and me not being able to figure out why (i have fuel spark, air and it cranks). I took it to a mechanic...timimg was one tooth off. It was corrected and still nothing. So any ideas on what i should do with it? Sell it for the remainder of my loan (like 1200) and buy a new one, part it out, im at a loss here! Gimme some ideas on what i should do...maybe ill take cambersc's idea and make it a BBQ pit...lol

It acts like it wants to start but doesn't, then it spits out white smoke from intake. Which is an indication timing is off. I may just unload it to someone lookin for a chassis. It has an injen intake, polished valve covers and trottle body and upper intake phlenum. Audi tt retrofit hid's, supra suspension, cross drilled and slotted rotors and an exhaust. I'm sure someone will want some of those parts. Oh and 18's staggered. I am gonna look at a sc300 with a 1jz in it this weeking. So I may pick that up.

Sounds like an ECU problem to me. Sometimes the ecu's go bad and just leave injectors open and dumping fuel into ur engine. You might actually be doing harm to your engine trying to crank it on when its just a bad ecu. The same thing just happend to a friend of mine a week ago. Put ina new ecu and bam started right up. But since he was trying to start it for days he had white smoke coming out for a while and it ended up messing up his starter

Agreed. I just had to replace mine. Remove the ECU from under the passenger-side of the dash (carpet) and resord the model #. Call around or go on fleabay and find one. Typically, a new ECU from the dealer will run you about $1,500. You can probably find a used, working example for less than 10% of that.

Yes scott, I did that myself. I made sure the 2 little dots on each helical gear were lined up next to eachother. I only replaced the one intake cam...my plan was to fix my car then buy the tt kit. I may just sell it for what I owe on it 1300 and change and buy kevro's. Sc300 with the 1j
