that and the fact that a lot of replicas of them have been made...kind of takes away the air of rarity and specialness.

yep the GT-7s are seven spokes, yet I often see the six spokes one piece replicas up here. If you do decide on the Gt-7, try to find some rare color...like anodized, chrome, or noble gold like mine. Puts it slightly above the rest IMO
