depends how much i get, i dont understand how much less ill get if i claimed as a dependent by my dad rather than independent,
if i claim independent i should have around $1500

Well, I'm not sure how much I'll get back, but I've already started saving. I also don't even own an SC yet, so that's my first project. In order:
-Find a 200k+ mile SC that's still in decent shape
-snag a full 1jz+5spd swap from ebay and install it
-build some power and make it look even better.
I figure with a total end budget of about 6k i can be where I wanna. I'm looking to spend about 2k for the full swap, another 2 or 3k for the car, and another grand or two on cosmetic improvements.

Just did mine last week, and getting 6400.... YEPEE!!!! This is what happens when you itemize and have kids. Problaly new set of lowering springs and tires. Bought a new set of Nike saquash golf clubs and victory irons.
