Default HELP! FUel filter bolt stripped!!

ok so today i went ahead and changed my fuel filter but ran into a major problem. When i went back to tighten the fuel filter in, one of the bolts thats on the line got stripped. I can't tighten the filter in and its only on half way because of that damn stripped bolt. I assumed that it was good enough so i turned my key to "on" postition and i got a lot of fuel coming out of where the untightened spot is at. I'll post a pic(not actual pic) of what im talking about. Is there a way to snap on to a stripped bolt? Is there any way i can get this on without cutting the line and getting a new flange on there? Any help would be greatful, im out of ideas!!

I had this same problem last week. It sucked big time. Is the nut/bolt completely rounded off? If yes then you're pretty much screwed.. I had to get me a whole new/used line at the wrecking yard for $80. That was a pain to put in also.

Did you use an open end wrench? Usually when you use open end wrenches with these types of flanges the will round off the head.

You should buy some brake line wrenches for next time...
