Turbo choices...your opinion

Ok CL, not giving any hints or clues to the extent of the planned build for my SC, or the other up coming changes to be made, but need some opinions.
I have been comparing some turbochargers (not their prices) and the specs, and seem to be eye-balling the Turbonetics GT-K 1000. The Turbonetics Super T series and Y2k's are over kill for my build and the standard T Series may not be enough later on down the road, but any suggestions or opinions using similar specs to the GT-K would be greatly welcomed.

**mods if this should have been in the performance section, please move it..

yeah I know, but that gives part of the "secret" away..but might aswell spill some of the beans..I am shooting for atleast 600rwhp, and that is minimum..the majority of the build has been planned and mapped out, but the turbo is still a toss up..once things are rolling financially, it will take about 2 months to actually complete the engine build, doesnt include everything else thats planned

I have the bullseyepower s366 and I like it. Comparable to 6765, but I haven't seen alot of 2j's with it compared to he 6765.
I would suggest an airwerks 91-79 which has a bigger turbine wheel then the bullseye. Twinscroll with .91 divided housing (or bigger if you dare try to find the sweet spot)
Full boost by around 4k on 93 octane
Compressor map for my bullseye and specs in the following link.

As a bonus I love the sound that it makes, here are a few clips
jz swapped 300zx with open dump at 12 psi racing a stock 300zx at 20psi. Barely hear the turbo over the dumped gate though. My car basically sounds like that and I'm only at 10 psi. His is borg warner though mine is Bullseye borgwarner

I got mine new for under 1k shipped so it is very inexpensive if you care. Will you divulge info on what fuel you plan to use? I'm pretty sure that this turbo will meet your needs fairly easy even if you just tuned on race gas or e85 keeping everything else the same. (except for fuel support)
Good luck and keep us posted.
Where you at in Texas, hell if your close enough I can just show you my ride.

technically if you were to look at the FULL list of things I have planned for the rest of this build, I will have a completely different car once its done.
Thats the kind of tech info I was looking for. And I like the fact that I can get it a bit smaller than a .96 a/r..I dont mind a bit of lag, but the less the better..and that Z was very convincing
.
As for fuel, Im going to attempt to stay on pump gas cause there isnt much in the way of e85 locally, but ordering some race gas from time to time wont be a problem..just need to budget in a new DD somewhere with the build![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Im in Corpus Christi, so that should tell you about what kind of perfomrnace minded people Im not around
..no tuner/speed shops, no e85, a couple decent cars here and there, and an un-holy amount of hondas ![Egads!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/pat.gif)
still looking into the 6765, 6265 and the 6262..trying to get through all the numbers, sizes, a/r's, turbine/comp. wheels etc...
I could settle for that, but over a couple months I would want more an more
..I guess in a couple weeks I will have to throw a list up as far as the engine plans to make sure I have all my ground covered..

the result is going to take some time..right now I have a target finish time of July, but I dont think its going to happen..car may not be 100% finished (interior, exterior, engine/trans, etc.) till Sept. or Oct...possibly 2011
![Sad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
and once its all together, comes dyno time..and then once the numbers are in, and video is loaded at that time I will let everyone on CL see the completed results..so dont expect much in the way of updates, but I will have a build thread after the car is done and dynoed

Bro take your time man , i am not rushing to see the result lol alot of time and money involve.
Take your time it doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as it's done right which i know it will be.
