Sure, you could get a 1JZ, but there is no substitute for the sound of a Toyota 1UZ

What ever happened to that site to order the 1UZ>W58 adapter plate and what was it called again?

I just got my kit in today as well. Once I get an issue sorted out with the transmission itself (it's stuck in gear) then I'll be all set to do the swap. Can't wait!

I have to give credit to Matt (Red Phoenix) for paving the way and providing me with some help as well. Thanks a lot.

hey if you or anyone else is also thinking about the r154 tranny, i believe there is a layout of an adapter plate for the 1uz-r154 swap on ebay(going to be more time invested seeing as you will have to find someone to machine a plate of sheet metal and im sure it has to be a specific type)... i plan to manual swap my 400 and thats most likely what i will go with... **In search of a r-154 if anyone has one or knows a trustworthy company to buy good trannys**
