thanks!! yeah im planning on doing wheels and suspension next then move on to performance mods but as of now college tuition owns me

lol thanks, yeah i wish this car was an original 5 speed too...i dont know how many ppl have ever converted from auto to manual on a SC but the scariest part of the ENTIRE swap process was drilling the firewall for the clutch master cylinder...holy crap...i was laying upside down with my head by the the gas pedal and my legs resting by the headrest with a wicked *** drill shooting crazy sparks while i was cutting a 3 inch hole in the firewall...def not an ergonomic process...
I totally agree!!
LoL!!!!!
here is a pic of my sc when me n my mechanic was doin the pedals for my 5speed swap..smh...

haha ur mechanic look quite uncomfortable. you know iv always admired ur SC. i love the look of the polished TT wheel and that single exit exhaust really gives ur car that "grunt" look. accoring to ur sig, it looks like ur planning on going with a VVTI 1jz?! iv always been facinated by that motor only cz i used to own a 1jz mk3 back in the day. if i were you, i would keep ur 2jz NA block, swap out the pistons and headgasket and then slap that VVTI 1jz head on there...that would be a sick setup IMO.

heres a few pics of my old 1jz mk3 that i thought id share with you guys, i really miss that car...

then i sold my MK3 for a nice chunk of change and bought myself my current daily driver which is my 1999 GS300...once i finish up the SC300, im planning on swapping my GS300 with a VVTI GTE motor

thanks for all the comments guys!

I know this thread is three years old, but I think it is more welcomed than starting a repeat thread. But I found this thread from Google.

But to reply to the last post...

I believe on my SC is the exhaust system you are asking about, the Phoenix Departure exhaust, catback. I can make a video of how it sounds which I love.
