Default More questions! 1jz swap

With regards to the a 1JZ swap in an Sc300, what is preferable, a car with OBDI or OBDII? I am 99% sure i will be sending away both harness's to DR TWEAK, or at least someone who does these swaps, just wondering if theres much difference or is the TWEAK gonna take care of all this for me.

If you want 1jz and your state has emissions, you must go with obd1. I have seen obd2 sc's with usdm obd2 supra ecus and 2jzs but it is not cheap.

There is no emissions here at the moment, and dont think anytime soon, but if i move then i will probably be forced to pass them. If i put a vvti 1jz in with obdII, would that pass emissions?
