Default shifter extension, manual swap

I'll be doing a 5 speed swap on my 92 Soarer in a couple of weeks, so I am trying to gather up all the info I need.

My Soarer is a 92 and I'll be using a R154 from a mk3 supra, will I need to extend my shifter if I use this?

Because I've heard that only 95 and up need shifter extensions...

thats a short shifter, no you dont need anything, you just need to move the shifter handle back about 2 inches or so...
