Just a curious question. Aren't my lights supposed to blink when I lock it with the remote? It is just the factory remote that i have if that helps. Why am I asking this? For one my tc and my pop's sienna's lights blink when locking and unlocking. And two I just want to know if i locked my car just by looking at the lights blink. The beep i get from locking/unlocking is not loud enough. Any advice will help. Thanks
what year is your SC? my 92 doesnt blink or beep..hell im lucky if my key even works at times
I have a 97. I'm just kinda wondering if mine is the only one that doesn't blink or are there others out there too? I'm sure there is a way to make them blink just like when they install aftermarket alarms and those lights blink.
I have a 95 and the car beeps and about 5 seconds later the lights come on when I unlock it but if u don't open any door ina certain time limit it relocks itself. As for when I lock it the lights blink quickly once and then shut off and beeps once as well simustainiously
maybe the 99+ came with the lights flashing when locking/unlocking. Does anyone know if there is a way that i can make the flash to the lock/unlocking?
YES! i've been looking for a answer to this forever! its annoying how the beep isn't loud enough, i would usually just spam the lock button just encase. I have a 97 also no flashing lights..

there's a possibility the previous owner either did not have this enabled or had it disabled at a lexus dealer at the time of purchase.
Lexus has what they call 'c-best' settings...things like beep/flash on unlock, which doors unlock after how many presses, etc. that they program using a proprietary software.
if you have a buddy at the dealer, see if he'll hook you up. normally they charge $120 to program c-best settings if the cars not under warranty
