Is it just me, or is this a lousy SC stereo installation?

I was expecting to see my install
(JK--duh!)
And by the way, isn't the fuse supposed to be no more than 18 inches away from the battery? That fuse is located in the trunk... Did the SC have a really short wheel base one year?
That is a very bad install.

...but we don't know for sure since there is no pic of the engine compartment on the auction web site. Here's a closeup of that area:

Hey it beats having a factory system in your car. I am really picky about what is done to my car. It has to be perfect or it isn't for my car. That is why I do everything my self. But on other people's cars I don't really care as long as it works and doesn't look too bad

Ryan, i'll be down your way in 1 1/2 weeks, goin' to Charlotte, i'll stop by if I get a chance, assuming you're still workin' for Lexus, or haven't defected to Johnson.

The non-brass area in the center of the block is where the glass fuses are. It is probably there to split the power to a 2nd amp that we don't see, behind the woofer box. Here's a diagram of a similar block, from the "Amplifiers" section of the excellent eatel basic electronics web page (http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/caraudio.htm):
