97 bumper + Vertex Lip $>= Shine AC front.
Plus there's something so factory looking about the AC bumper. The poster above is right about trying NOT to look like a Civic.
Anything "stick-on" is not for a lexus, in my opinion. It should look like a factory option.
Yes, I agree that the big mouth opennings do look like ricey civic bumpers when the big mouth part is really tall, but the AC openning is only 4" tall or so.... It's not like those EVO or GTR like mouths that have 10" + tall opennings.
I also agree that this mod makes the car look a little less "expensive" and more "sporty." But lets face it here... if you bought your SCx00 in the last 2 years and paid more than $13,000 for it, you're a fool. That being said, everyone knows how "expensive" (hehe) your car is... about $13k worth max. However, "classy" and "expensive" don't have to be mutually inclusive.

I like the Dodge Viper looking front on the A/C Kit. I'm a lil pissed there is a knock off now and everybody and they mama are gonna be buying it, but such is life...as long as they look clean and not riced out, who cares?
As for the value of our cars, they will continue to decrease in leaps and bounds if we rice them out. They may not hold a strong value on KBB, but they will in the eye of the community if we keep them classy and clean. Just my $.02
I don't know about everyone else, but the majority of compliments I get on my car (and there have been A TON lately) come from 26-43 yr old women and 37+ yr old men...go figure. I know all my neighbors enjoy looking at mine and LRD's car weekly...they say so everytime I pull out the garage.
