My plans are to have big power like around 400 to 500hp. Ive just heard that the 300 are easier to do stuff to because the aftermarket parts are much easier to find so i wasnt sure if the 400 would be good or not even tho its a v8. Also how much power gains do the 400's get with a supercharger becuase i see and hear thats what most people do the the 400's and the 300's usually have turbo kits. Also is it possible to set up a turbo with the 400? Which would be better setup for easy horsepower thats the cheapest a 300 or 400?

Go with the 300 and get a Gte swap or go NA-T with a supra turbo auto..either way its good if you wanna get that kinda power. The 400 is a good platform but if you dont like the muscle car type sound then its not for you. The sc400 is pretty rare plus 2jz parts are way more common to find for the 300 and youll have lots more fun hearing all 6 cylinders rev to high rpms and come outta da exhaust, pure music to your ears!!

Best thing to do if you want nice power without big money is swap in a chevy engine. That's way more reliable thnt boosting an engine that wasn't designed for big power unless yu mod the engine internally. Even then it's eventually gonna crash and burn.

I say get the sc400 and call it a day.
I agree. A properly boosted and tuned SC300 is amazing and is well worth it. A stock SC300 is very slow compared to similar class cars sold today.

umm.......?

But plenty of people have said it b4, it all depends on you. I agree that the majority of SC3 owners do plan to go turbo (including me lol)
