Which is positive and which is negative?

UPDATED: Did it the old school/correct way..updated piture below shows +/- coming from the source. i should have an LED updated picture of the cluster by this weekend, along with the auto shift bezel, vol/temp controls, and a few other things..

wont work..i need to know which is +/- coming from the source where the ribbon plugs in. but if someone can point out which is +/- on the ribbon the rest is cake with a little soldering and I can finish my interior LED conversion..all thats left is the cluster

I soldered one LED in and put it back together. I was fortunate and it worked, so I made the others match. Sorry I don't know what the polarity is though...
Also, make sure you cover the LED's or you'll have 3 bright spots in the LCD.

Yeah I have some diffuser plastic that I have used before with LED's, so hot spots arent an issue, but your dash looks great and I have been through your threads several times and thats what made me say the hell with it and start some soldering..but I guess I have to do it the old fashion way and pull out the dmm...
and as for that toe, I know how that feels..busted my ribs up a few years ago due to landing on the apex of an unmeasured jump..needless to say I was in the wrong gear at the wrong speed.
