Ok well we got a bit of a late start, but 7hrs into it, new timing belt, exhaust is out, plugs are being changed as we speak..
in the next hour, oil pan will be drilled, manifold and WG mounted, oil lines run, then the SAFC installed with gauges..stopping time is est. at 9pm finishing tomorrow.

Is this the car? This isn't a 97 but the wheels are the same?

ashtray's 2 days to boost or bust...pics (56k where are you?!)
Ok after getting off to a bit of a late start (10:30am instead of 8am) and fighting with the stock exhaust to get it removed, we accomplished alot in one day, and have one day left to finish. The car should be finished and running no later than 1pm tomorrow after noon provided I wake up in time and we get back to wrenching.
and the most important picture of the night, still need to do some cleaning (especially the belt), but everything is mocked up in place..just minor things left
More pictures tomorrow of the last few thing coming together, more pics of me on the phone im sure, and a video of ashtray's smile the first time he feels boost

Nope thats a different car. ashtray's car is an actual 97 5-speed.

nope just the Turbonetics turbo, T4 60-1. Everything else was pieced together.
No problem man, there is always another time..plus Im going to try and get my car finished in time for the TX Miles, so maybe we can all meet up and cruise out there.
