How much is my Turbo SC worth?
Hey guys,
It has been a long time since I posted and I've just been enjoying my car since I installed the Turbo kit with my friend. I'm starting to get sick of the whole idea and just want to get your guy's opinions on where I stand on getting this thing outta my hands.
Let me be flat out honest and real like I always have.
The car needs cosmetic work. Big time.
As far as Performance, I have definitely boosted its "sleeper" look and am pushing about 7psi right now (stock boost).
1994 SC300 5-Speed Manual
Mileage on CAR: Approx. 166,xxx
Mileage on TURBO: Approx. 1,0xx
No accidents, carfax can prove that. Just a small ding with my friend when he backed into me but i'll explain more below and a link below with some pictures could do the talking. (No dents, bumper got dinged and has a slit in it)
Here goes the list:
Exterior:
1. Nothing to list here. This car is a sleeper car as can be. Stock 97+ wheels and stock for the rest of this baby.
The Cons:
1. Could use a new paint job
2. Had a little hit in the rear bumper right side, could use replacement or professional body shop work.
3. Paint chipping away at some edges (hence the car could use repaint above)
Performance/Engine Work:
1. Precision T61 Turbo
2. DaveH Manifold
3. Tial Wastegate
4. HKS SSQV II Blow off Valve (Matte Black)
5. Precision FMIC 750HP Intercooler
6. K&N Intake Pipe and Filter
7. Walbro Fuel pump
8. T4 Turbo Blanket
9. Custom 3'' exhaust from DP back to center of car which connects to Y-Pipe that splits into TWO 2.5'' outlets.
10. No cats..
11. Stock boost 7psi.
Transmission
1. ACT 6 Puck Sprung Clutch (Installed by FSR Motorsports)
Interior:
1. SAFC 2 Wired behind carpet and ready to be tuned.
2. AEM Wideband
The Cons:
1. Some seat tears for the driver side. Same with the center of the back seats (not tears just the stitching came apart like every other SC )
2. Carpet is stained and could use a major clean job or maybe replacement depending how **** you are...
I also got a AEM Tru-Boost Controller, and 6000k HID's from LuxuryMods vendor on CL. These are not installed on the car but i guess you can throw it in with your price opinions...not that it would make a huge difference
Some Pics and video of my Turbo Install: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...lete-pics.html
More pics on page 3 of that post (i take a pic of the rear bumper hit too)
All in all, since the turbo install the car has been running like a CHAMP.
I've had fun teasing people on the freeway and definitely taking out some M3's, 335's, 370Z's, etc. in that category. People always roll up next to me and think im some ricer with a mean exhaust but when I boost up to 3500-4000rpm they trip out when my BOV goes off cus that damn thing sounds ridiculously SEXY on these cars. I don't think any other car can have the sound a 2jz has with a HKS Bov.. hands down.
Anyway I'm just interested to hear your guys's feedback and pros and cons you can list. Maybe some supportive criticism.
I've worked very hard on this cars performance for a 19-20 year old and I started from the ground up with big help from a former champ BLK97SC300. He helped me get started and most importantly put that bad boy T61 in the car.
The car is ready for more power and someone to enhance its true potential.
Let me hear what you gotta say!

Thanks for feedback so far.
That was my backup choice but i didn't want to go there because I just dont have time to rip the car apart again and go back to N/A. Nor do I have the time for handling the part out etc. But maybe.. we'll see

I could have it tuned to run a little more safer and maybe get a tiny bit more power out of it. Which i am considering to do in the next few weeks. So far everything is still very healthy and running great. Maybe Ill Roller had a different setup or whatever with me. Not all Na-T's are 100% alike. But maybe his setup is exactly like mine...idk.

I think you should get a shine body kit, get it repainted some where reasonable. Then fall in love all over again.
The economy is not going to turn around. So our cars value is going to stay right were it is.

okay...do whatever you want. at least get an AFR gauge and see where you are at. you dont have a magic 100% self-learning ecu.

lol i do have a AFR gauge. I didn't just slap on this kit and start driving. I had a professional friend help and FSR Motorsports (google em) take a look at my install as well and run some tests for me.
I'm not that big of a noob
