Default how easy is it to remove the this part of the e-brake?

I want to cut off my old tan out and replace it with an aftermarket handle. Is removing this easy?

To remove the whole assembly, it's held by a couple sturdy bolts. You have to remove the driver's seat to access them, and remove the ebrake cover

You gotta fiddle around with the cable to pop it out as well, but it's not too bad

For sure. You ever take the cable off of the inner door handle for the lock? It's a similar concept, cept with a beefier cable
