The receiver is located on a chip that is inside the remote lock ecu. This ecu is located behind the panel that is adjacent to the back seat, passenger side. You have to have matching units; ie, the key and chip have to be matched to work. I know Sewell sells the set. You have to provide proof of ownership and have a few bucks... The one you buy off ebay will be matched to another car. Later model cars could be reprogrammed, but not the '92s.
