Not flaming, just saying.
It helps a bit cos there is so much camber at that point when tire hits the frame. With bigger wheels and tires (bigger wheel/tire diameter) benefit is lesser because tire hits the frame "earlier" so camber is "smaller". Frame has also some edges pointing down that gives an half inch more clearance after cutting those down. Anyhow it helped me at scraping issues and tire doesn't rub to frame anymore.

Random iphone shots for fun. The owner of this 88 Corolla GTS followed me into the gas station to ask about my wheels, tunred out to be a really nice guy and his little Toyota was sharp, clean as a whistle.

that makes sense. If you are running that much camber the wheels/tires would be in an angle and the outer part would be sitting higher. But then again, I don't wanna run that much camber for a daily driven SC.

The cutting does help with any rubbing and gives more clearance. I cut the same on mine and pretty much have zero rubbing now unless its a huge dip on the freeway or something. I daily mine very low with no crazy camber. And it was on three road trips to Cali over the summer

That is some aggressive trimming. Any pictures of what that will do for your ride height?
