swap? i thought a UZZ31 was the same thing as a SC400 except RHD.

Nice car. Any feed back for the hurricane headers? I believe there are a lot of us in the USA wondering about them. Fit? Performance? Recommend?

Thanks fellas. The car has been resprayed in the past so for a '92 it still scrubs up alright after a wash. It's just your run of the mill UZZ31, which are a dime a dozen here in Oz. However finding a clean example now days is an increasingly different story.

Thanks JasGS350. The hurricane headers as you may know are a copy of the original RUSH headers. So the fitment, quality & performance are all still there. I absolutely recommend them, the change in exhaust tone alone is fantastic as you would expect, & the noticeable mid-range power increase definitely wakes the 1UZ up some more.

I mentioned the 2 suppliers of these headers in another thread also, so hopefully they can shed some light on fitment on a LHD vehicle.

Thanks guys but those pics are over 3 years old. October 2012. It was actually the very last day in that form which sounds quite sad though. Nowadays i would not keep those caps on.
