I rememeber when I removed everything form the car and went SEM' m painting all day. Man it was night and day of the difference. It paid off just like yours will. Be patience and it will be rewarding for you. Thanks for sharing the pictrures and keep us updated daily of your progress.

I can't wait to see how it all turns out. I know how it feels to restore your car and it's worth it! You've done a great job so far.

its nice to see work done like this. interior restore are always interesting when done correctly (like the OP is doing).

i recently did my entire rear panels and c pillars with that SEM landau black. that stuff is not cheap but its great quality.

lol

So what exactly was wrong with your headlights? Were the connectors rusted to the point there was not connection?

All the inside metal coating was peeled off, there is a couple of bars that go from the outside of the headlight into to hold stuff still/adjustments. Pretty much everything metal was rusted to **** and when i tried to unscrew stuff the heads of the screws would crumble.

Damn this car was in rough shape, it looks like its coming along very good. I'm also thinking about using SEM for a color change.

Keep up the good work, it looks like its going to be paying off nicely!

Slowwwwllly putting it back together. Its hard as hell to put these cars back together when you didnt take them apart lol.

Here is a pic of the passenger side mazda seat only installed to try to show the height difference. They sit in there nicely with plenty of room in all direction. More pics tomorrow when the suns up!

Dont mind the pic, everything is dirty as hell it has been sitting in my shop and i live on a dirt road so everything is covered in dust.

The rear had one bolt to line up (inner one on the tranny tube) and the other one only need a plate to move the bolt back about 4 inches.

All 4 corners have removable brackets, the front ones just needed to be flipped around. They are a pain in the *** to tighten the bolts but it was easy besides that.
