We'll see how everything pans out. Tomorrow I'll spend some time checking things out and at least get a dump tube on. Got to get the heater core and valve cover vent hooked up too. TOmorrow is definantly wideband install day too...LOL. Already has a bung so should be simple. Can't complain no matter what happens really.

I'm not sure what the deal with the zip ties on the fan shroud is. WHen I first saw it I assumed a fan disaster, but the underside isn't scratched and damaged. I guess either someone pulled on it, the hood slammed with something sitting there (struts are a little weak), or possibly the previous owner put the engine in with the shroud on and hit it.

Hopefully some of the locals in south FL will know the car and chime in.

Default Valve Cover Vent and Heater Core COnnections

Since I mentioned it, might as well ask here.

Does the valve cover vent just run over to the intake pipe or do I need a check valve on it too.

Where should I pull my heater core connections? Where did the 2 barbs on the water pump hose end go in factory form???

He kept alot of the exhaust so it's basically just a long downpipe.....sounds like a Cummins turbo diesel. All you hear is turbo.

Anyways, it's a 1.5JZ with all new GTE bottom and about 3500 miles since the rebuild. Precision billet PT76 turbo and 1000cc injectors. Turbo is laggy for sure, but it's hold on time when it spools. Manaray MS-6 wheels with TT brakes, Bilstein struts, and Eibach springs. Nasty little rake to the stance....I love it. R154 5-speed and Competition Stage 4 clutch. Big intercooler and all the goodies. Oh yea.....working AC too. Goes for exhaust Friday and to the painter on Saturday.

Too cold and dark to put the wideband in I won't drive a TC car without one if I can help it. We'll have some fun tomorrow.

Yep....Hollywood. Dang nice guy selling the car too. Made the fear of buying a car based on an ad a little less stressful Had he not have been so open and willing to discuss the car, I wouldn't have even considered the purchase.
