She's FINALLY here.....and nasty....my new SC300
After many transport issues my 94 SC300 got here today Wastegate is open to the engine bay so I couldn't see what the car could really do but traction was an issue even while the boost was ramping. Had to be careful to not let the wastegate open though....LOL. Cooked wiring harness in a hurry doing that kind of stuff. He kept alot of the exhaust so it's basically just a long downpipe.....sounds like a Cummins turbo diesel. All you hear is turbo.
Anyways, it's a 1.5JZ with all new GTE bottom and about 3500 miles since the rebuild. Precision billet PT76 turbo and 1000cc injectors. Turbo is laggy for sure, but it's hold on time when it spools. Manaray MS-6 wheels with TT brakes, Bilstein struts, and Eibach springs. Nasty little rake to the stance....I love it. R154 5-speed and Competition Stage 4 clutch. Big intercooler and all the goodies. Oh yea.....working AC too. Goes for exhaust Friday and to the painter on Saturday.

It also showed up with alot of unexpected bonuses. New tires in the trunk, HID's, nice ALpine stereo, etc. Brand new 97+ front and rear bumper too (lots of fun to get home...LOL) Not big deals but certainly make you happy when buying sight-unseen. The $10k+ of receipts in the glovebox were also nice......you know how much a factory Toyota crank, pistons, and rods for a 2JZ-GTE costs I'm pretty sure a new shortblock would have been cheaper.

Great looking car Jon, I was just about to text you to see how you liked it, I know that thing was a hell of a deal even for the asking price. And that turbo is a MONSTER! Looks WAY bigger than in the other pics and vids of the car.
