I installed a piggy back. If you haven't upogrfaded the cam exhaust duration and opened up the exhaust a bit ypu won't see much from a stand alone. The cam move should open you eyes but without it I think you are chasing your tail with some big bucks.
My pigy back is smog legal but there is a story. When you go to WOT you come off the closed lopop feed back engine control and drop into a open loop preprogrammed mode. Just like when you first start up a cold engine you get more power for the same reason. The piggy back lets you modify the mix at the WOT mode. In the factory program the mix at WOT is very rich. The piggy back actually lets you adjust the mix keaner for more power. All engines/cars being different, you need a dyno to find and program in that "sweet spot". I have this on good authority. Beside the Piggy Back you need za hour on a dyno for $400.
When I want power I am usualy at WOT but I can tel you that the power at "cold start" is really impressive for a few minutes and the kick is at all throttle settings.
There was a lot of discussion about installing a Supercharger and not messing with the ECU. Sounded far fetched but while the engine ran super lousy after installing the Super the darn thing "learned" the new system and after 50 miles or so had edialed itself back in to neck snaping performance with the exra charge. That data came from the Aussie guys that make the Super and I am sure they would like to sell you more stuff and it starts out scary....I am told.
Good luck,
John

Thanks all!
I brought the car up from Texas at roughly 650 feet above sea level and now I am here in Colorado at over 5000 feet and I miss the performance I had and wanted some back. Thanks again! If anybody has any suggestions on best bang for the buck for my vehicle, I am all ears.
