Exhaust has been upgraded to 2.5" from the cats back, into a magnaflow x-pipe, then to dual magnaflow mufflers. Also during the swap we gutted the cats...lol! So it sounds even better now.

lmao aight.. i was just curious to see a vid with a manual SC400, everything else stock, just to see how it would have been like if these cars came with manual transmissions out the factory. I'm sure it would still purr

CaptainSc, Do you have other performance parts beside your exhaust? Im going to convert mine also and was wondering how big of a difference off the line is the sc400 stock, with the exception of just an exhaust, between having an auto vs manual transmission? I know for sure there will be some burning rubber haha but how is the quickness of the take off is what im asking.

 

The motor is 100% stock. I havent pushed it too hard yet but 1st gear is very short. So its a quick shift to 2nd which is my favorite. Overall it feels quicker, still getting down driving it correctly. It definetely doesnt bog down like it does with the auto and its overall just a whole lot more fun to drive. Makes the experience so much more worth it!
