Default Another 1UZ 5 speed on the road now!

Thats right, IT IS DONE! My 1UZ----> W58 swap has been completed today. the car is driving great and it just has a few small things we need to take care of to get it 100%. Coupe of pointers for anyone interested in doing this swap. DONOT buy a MK4 Supra manual driveshaft! If you don, it will need to be cut and rewelded using the spline from the supra shaft and then that will be needed to be welded onto the auto driveshaft from the SC400. Also DONOT buy a used HOWE bearing. This is very risky and they need to be bought new I learned my lesson not to cheap out on the little, but very important parts. So after some setbacks, and 17 hours of labor, it is done! Pics galore below plus a full write up coming to a forum near you soon! Will also have a video up once everything that I want to be done is completed. Enjoy!

Congrats!

What are the little things you still want to take care of?

What did you do about the NSS and cruise control?

NSS was jumped, will be apart of the write up. You can easily hook it up to the clutch pedal though. CC, havent even looked at yet.

Looking forward to the update.

Also looking forward to figuring out how to get my fcking transmission unstuck from 3rd gear.

Any update on the other bolts and things?

So what was the purpose of draining the radiator? Does the auto radiator work with the 5spd? I read somewhere that you had to get a manual radiator?

Nice pictures, love love pictures! I hate getting those hoses off the radiator they were a pita for me.
