to be serious my poor car was hit twice badly while parked!
- the house across the street was being built and the small forklifts that hangs on the back of delivery truck decided to hit my quarter panel while off loading drywall off the truck. wasn't a clean hit to say the least. they all tried to deny it and the contractor told me he would "fix" it and it was the worse fix known to man kind. i think there's a good inch of bondo under the panel. the paint was almost finger paint. i was POed but the contractor considers that as being "fixed". so i have to replace the entire qtr now.
- a drunk driver pulled into my neighbor's driveway and since he was drunk he got the wrong house. the driveway pitches down to a garage so the drunk guy got back into the car and decided to gun his minivan out of the driveway and rammed his toyota sienna into the passenger side door of the car. it was hit pretty bad and the entire door is pretty much trashed. he got away and it was at night so no plates.
so when the weather warms up again i'll put some time and money on to fixing it.
