I'm actually looking for cheap alternatives to an OEM black carpet.
I was thinking an MKIII or MKIV Carpet. The only problem is the kickpanels are plastic pieces on the MKIV, and the SC is just covered with carpet. I don't see it as a major issue though.
I was also thinking about a 350z carpet, since it's pretty surable, but it looks cheap.
I'll see what I can find.

Tan thats stained beyond repair/cleaning and i'm getting black cloth seats.I installed some "replacement universal" carpet that i installed over the stock tan but eventually want a good carpet. The MKIV and lexus seats share the same bolt pattern and are interchangeable but i'm pretty sure the center console's are different and i think the sc's have more interior room.

just FYI, i know that you can purchase paint specifically for car interior. it comes in a spray can. my friend sprayed his 240 carpet (black) and it turned out exceptionally nice! i believe you can pick it up at walmart.
