$2500 for this kinda time and effort is cheap. Pulling the trim and stuff is a big time drain.

Put it this way...Maacos top of the line job is $1700 and they aren't pulling the trim.

It's back home. We ran out of time to finish color sanding and buffing, but we did the front clip. In the words of the painter "It's slick enough that a gnat would land, slip, and bust his ***" I welded up a full exhaust while it was at the painters shop and it took alot longer than I had expected. The SC is NOT an easy car to run exhaust....especially 3" duals that tuck nicely. I will say the dual Magnaflow race cores sound sick.

I'll post once the color sanding is complete.....but for the time being.

Of course it rained all the way home with fresh paint so I'll try and spray it off and take a couple. After seeing the results from color sanding and buffing the front.....I can't wait to see it finished. Unfortunately, it's 2 more weekends before I can go back up and get it finished.

Im so jealous, my car needs a full respray cuz the last owner had it maaco painted. My bumpers are eggshelling and they industrial glued the badges on with lots of glue. It wouldnt be so bad if it didnt say "300 SC" Cant wait to see the super white though!

Indeed. A GOOD, quality paintjob should be around 4k. Not to say they don't happen for less, but NORMALLY around this area.

Not going to post high resolution till the color sanding and buffing are done.....don't want you people to see my girl with any texture in the clear...LOL Here's some quickies. I'm as proud of my hand built exhaust as the paintjob. PLease overlook the corny tag....I transfered insurance and tag from a dead Starion...LOL. It had too much BOOST4U
