Only ever had it happen to me in the SC. If anyone asks, I just tell them it's a Lexus feature that pressurizes the gas tank for superior tank pressure or some B.S.
It's designed to do that. The only time the evaporative system purges the fuel tank is during idle and part throttle cruising. When you shut the car off, the vapors build up (due to temperature changes... the main one being your fuel pump running vs. off) until you start the car again.
It happens to my Sc as well, she releasing the build-up of gas/Queefing.

My SC and my BMW alos do this. Especially on low or 1/4 tank of fuel. I have always been told its a good thing and its doing exactly what it was designed to do.
