Another SC restoration. Making that 17 year old car look like new!

Thanks once again for all the encouraging compliments. I'm finally on the home run stretch of finishing this thing. I didn't quite think it would be a two year project, but I wanted to do a proper restore and not cut corners. After it's all said and done I'll post the final numbers it took to restore this SC.

So time for another small update on my super slow progress.
I decided purchasing all new interior panels wasn't reasonable, plus mine were in good shape, just a bit faded. I decided to have them all redyed and see how they turn out. I took them to a local upholstery shop as I didn't feel confident I could get an exact color match with SEM paint. Below is the pictures of the results. They were a perfect color match to the new map pockets I had purchased and the cost was very reasonable compared to the $2000 the new panels would have cost. I also tested the finish on a few hidden areas and it seems very durable. The only thing i noticed in the images was the photos exaggerated the color difference of the plastic components. Doing this also helped me save money for the carpet, which I will be purchasing new very soon.
I keep making this think take longer and longer to get put back together, I've decided now that I'm in this far I might as well not cut corners. When I get the interior more together I'll post some pics.

If you're talking about the leather I believe it's ivory and I purchased it from leatherseats.com.
