if im correct your not allowed to buy the whole car right? its SO dumb that they ruin the engines in the CARS program. its just a way for the government to get you to have to buy a new car because there arent any replacement parts or the price for replacement parts has gone up so it makes more sense to buy a new car.

but id buy the body components.. esppecialllly those tails!

cash for clunkers was the biggest mistake since...well I wont get into politics, but it was a stupid program...its a shame that some a**-hat took that perfectly fine SC and probably got a Prius to replace it, and hes still only getting 25mph city..

BUT, still not as stupid as the gentlemen with the Maserati that "exchanged" his car in the clunkers program..yes, a paid off, untouched, less than 40k mile Maserati was exchanged and destroyed...the ignorance of it all.
