so my brother just recently got an 02 rx300 and so i was realy interested to see it would fit on my 96 sc300 so i opened it up and to my surprise it was a single stage airbag so all i need is a sub harness that i would have to get if i had the 98 gs airbag. the rx airbag is the ones with the chrome Lexus emblem in the center and wooden steering wheel. from what i read it was supposedly only found in the 01 rx300 but i just found it in the 02. so now all i have to do i try to convince my brother to trade me his airbag and steering wheel LOL so wish me luck
