I just got finished painting the orange part of my taillights. I used "Nite Shades" taillight tint. It costs $11 a can from Summit Racing. The taillights look so much phatter now. Hopefully the turn signal bulbs will still shine through. I am going to remove the headlight covers and tint the headlamp housing soon.

the turn signals can be seen unbelievably well through the spray tint. I also decided to do the front sidemarkers since the taillights turned out so well. I will post pictures some pictures shortly. I need to get some more batteries for the digital camera. Lex Luthor...I guess I care more about my car than my feet.

If the new sidemarkers don't look good installed I might just shave them off when I shave the doorhandles and antenna hole. It is probably illegal but there is already plenty of stuff that I have already done that on the Lex that is illegal

Hey, do you have a pic of the side markers installed?
I'd advise against tinting the front headlamp assembly. I've done it in many other cars, and it never turned out well; especially since the SC's lights leave a lot to be desired.
Tail lamps look good though - Nice job.
I thought about blacking out the whole lens assembly, then decided not to do it, assuming I'd need a little curry sauce with my rice; but I actually like how you did it. Still has a classy look, w/o the rice.

Dunno, I think I would just UPGRADE my tail lights to a '95 or '97+ style instead...
The problem with those "spray" tints and colors is that they look cheap and ricer...they NEVER look "OEM"...
