does anyone know the color of the wires that provide the drivers seat power? i cannot get the seat to move. the passenger side seat is great, but the drivers side wont respond at all. just wondering if anyone has this info. i have a few harness diagrams but none address the power seats. i did a seat swap and used the stock rails and power functions. extended the harness to the mid console. i know that the seats work without a hitch, so now i just need to know how to provide them power.

well im just going out on a limb here strip the wires and get a volt meter? there should be a couple wires that go to the door panel for the memory function and there should be a ground and a positive wire hook the ground and positive to your new seats.

actually they are the stock seats. which make it a lil bit more of a pickle...ill go for that tho tomorrow... great thing is that i already have the door panels off. i have a 1jz swap, so i really need to know the color of the ground and 12 volt main to the seats. even if i check the memory switch, i wont know whats what if the power is not being provided to it......i think that one of the pins is diff on the 1jz harness so the drivers side isnt getting power at all... ill trace them tho and see what i can dig up. thanks for the insight...K

check fuses? if the plug is the same it should be the same wires connecting I could be wrong though. Jus see if you have a live wire on the floor board if you dont there is something wrong with your power supply/ your seats move even when the key is out

my fuses are all inline.... its basically the headache of ever doing a 1jz swap lol.
i dont know why they didnt just make the engine harness completely independent of the body harness. since they tie in, then u always have complications.
i have a few. no signal lights work, so if i turn on the blinkers to turn, none come on. even though i can hear the clicking in the dash.
also the power steeringwheel doesnt work all the time. its very fickle.. since the memory function for both seem to be tied, i honestly think its the wiring... the small problems are well worth the horsepower lol.
so this isnt a novice question, im well versed in the swap, but since i dont have the dash removed to look all behind it, i can never tell if its the harness or a difference in harnesses since the behind the dash harness was replaced as well... which complicates the ability to pinpoint the issue. im guessung im going to have to hardwire a few items myself which im ok with.
anyone with the wiring diagram would be greatly appreciated. (for the seats)
