Foggy Headlights

The very best methods are 2 options.
1. Obtain the new OEM headlights form the stealership.
2. Remove the headlights form the car, place on a pan and heat up oven to about 300 degrees. Place the headlights in there for about 5 minutes or so, then take them apart and clean them inside and out, to include the lens itself. You have to reactivate that sticky grey factory glue. You will be amazed how much more brighter they will be besides just cleaning the outside lens part. Thats only temporary. Reseal with 100% black silicone and let dry with zip ties around them. Make sure to buff the inside and out of the lens. Put back in car. Install some bulbs, maybe 65 watts or something close. Call it the day. Drink a beer. Watch some more football.

I've seen better kits that come with a UV clear coat solution, I am going to give the Sylvania kit a shot though next.

^ i just bought the turtle wax kit it has 4 types of sand pads a polishing cream thing and a cloth to prevent the yellowing of returning..
now the rest came out good as well however the driver side has a leak and i removed it first time and tried resealing ..before doing this i tried sanding the inside with regular sand paper and polishing compound i had from before..but since the inside has creases and what not the polishing compound didnt come out right and looked worse i need a new head light that doesnt leak for the driver but the pass and the high beams look great still and this has been a few months already and we've had a good amount of rain since doing them..
needless to say i am VERY happy with the results for 9-10 bucks and it did the two head lights and the high beams..ran out before i got to the lower lights but plan to buy another kit and do those..definitely a huge difference..also the pass. light was easily as bad as the other lights in the pic when i started.

a headlight restoration kit will not help you out in this case.condensation in the lens.try a blow drier or heat gun to evaporate the water, moving around the lens slowly.you need to reseal the lens using some clear or black (your choice) silicone.
