I got the 97+ lamp failure module and it helped me to not have the lamp failure light during the day. Once my headlights come on the light comes on, I think it may be because I do not have fog lights though and the resistance is less (don't quote me on it though). So try it with fogs, or if you are very patient wait a few months for me to do it, unless you want to buy me some fogs to try it out As for the hyperblink, you can buy an aftermarket turn signal relay or what I am going to try once I get sideskirts. I am going to try to find mirror turn signals and run puddle lights as turn signals to increase the resistance and slow down the turn signal.
The hyperblink seems to be an easy fix. For the failure light I think I'll just remove the bulb.

Not to bring up an old thread, But I was told by a reliable source, That if you have a '95-'96 year model, '97+ tailights will be a direct swap/plug in and play, no need to change module/capacitor and there's no hyper blink...Can anyone confirm this?

Confirmed. My '95 has never had a hyper blink problem. All I have is the bulb out light on the dash.

I see...Thanks! I guess I am going to need the module/capacitor if I do not want that tail lamp failure indicator on the dash...That, or remove the bulb from the dash.

Okay, So I finally installed a pair of '97+ tail lights, They work fine! All I need is the tail lamp failure module, And I should be good with the tail light failure light on my dash.

Okay, I did a little bit more research and learned that if you're going from '95-'96 to '97-'00 tail lights, You'll need a certain type of Tail lamp failure sensor (Depending if your 3rd brake light was mounted on the spoiler from the factory or was mounted inside the cabin since there was no spoiler on it)...

Part Number # 89373-24150 (3rd brake light on oem factory spoiler)

Part Number # 89373-24160 (3rd brake light inside cabin, No Spoiler)

For reference...If you have a '95-'96 SCX00, With no spoiler (3rd brake light inside cabin), The part number on your module should be "89373-24140"...

If you have a '95-'96 SCX00 with a factory OEM spoiler as the 3rd brake light, The part number on your module should be "89373-24130".

Good info. I'm still undecided as to which tails I'll go with when my paint is done up, but this helps in the decision.

wow, thank you CrazySC300! Good to know the 95-96 SC wont have hyper-blink with 97+ tails installed. One less thing to worry about when i put 97+ tails on

Yeah I just put on my 97's.

Seems like the only way to stop hyper blink for us 92-94 is to add bulbs. We could modify the flasher, but it changes our emergency lights
