Default trading IS for SC, need advice
hey

i currently have a 2002 lexus is300

125000 miles full tune up

obx headers and y pipe and tanabe cat back

aem intake

tein basic coilovers

SSR type c-rs wheels

i have someone willing to trade me a 1996 sc300 with full 2jzgte swap

2000 front end conversion
very clean
automatic transmission (mkiv)
front mount
hks bov

its a straight trade



i am going to have a full compression test and over view of it by my mechanic , if all goes good should i do it?

Need photo's of both cars. Is your's a manual? How many miles on the SC body?

id have a SC over an IS any day! unless its the second gen.! test the SC first to see if there's any problem...and pictures!

yes some pics will help us help you. But it sounds like a str8 trade i guess hows the interior on the SC does everything work dash, lights, windows, seats, etc.?

Ill post some pictures soon

the interior is ok in the SC, noting a new steering wheel and some sparco seats cant fix

im still in the middle , ill update when i get pictures

really !!? wow that sc300 swapped is worth more than your IS300.. i would trade it in a heartbeat! as long as its running straight

Sounds like a great deal for a straight trade. Going to need pics but if it runs fine and body is in good shape, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
