I got a 92' sc400 and I always put premium. even if I got to put premium and order off the dollar menu for lunch. I'll do it(talk about dedication huh? lol). Is it really necessary to put premium? Could I put reg and a fuel booster?
Sure, someone probably commented on this (I hope), but just to let you know, The "One Point" of octane boost they claim is actually a tenth of a point, effectively bringing 87 to 87.1 octane per treatment So a bottle that claims to add 3 points will only raise your fuel from 87 to 87.3.
xylene
acetone
Toluene
Google them
Not to mention the difference between 87 and 91(or 93 for people not in Cali) is only about $5 per tank or so; pretty much nothing in my opinion.
