Default Another windows not working thread.

I bought the car with a **** storm of electrical problems. Everything has been fixed thanks to CL except this one last issue.

I searched and found that the cause of my windows not working is most likely my window regulators. How do you know for sure if its the regulator or not though? My windows are stuck shut. If it were the regulators wouldnt the window just fall down? Also would I even be able to get the regulator out if the windows are all the way up?

I also read in another thread that some windows have failed due to some wiring getting chewed up @ the door hinge. My car looks like someone tampered with the harness in that area. Anyone know what color the wires are for the windows?

any help is appreciated. thanks

I don't want to jinx myself, but I had the same problem among other things when I bought my SC400. The way I checked was by unplugging the regulator from the harness & run a power source to the terminals. The regulator on my car still worked & rolled the glass up & down. Obviously if yours doesn't move, its time to replace it.
