Driver window - Female DIY???
My '92 SC400 has seen better days, fellas. I've thought about parting her out and getting a newer platform but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I have quite a list of things that need fixing. Here's #1 on my list:
I'm not entirely sure what on earth he was attempting to do (he didn't run it by me first ) but while my ex bf was working on the driver door he said he heard a pop and the window disappeared down into the door. I am assuming/hoping that the glass is still intact. What was probably the cause, how can it be fixed and do you think I could do it myself?
If I do decide to attempt to fix it myself, what are the main eff ups that should be avoided? I'm certainly not a mechanic but I can change my oil and a tire easily enough and follow instructions. I have the pdf version of the manual that shows the process of breaking down the door...
Please and thank you

Either the screws hold the window to the regulator came off or the white things that support and mounts on the rail broke off. If your lucky you wont need a new window, but its not hard to replace. Only way to find out is to rip that baby open.

Thanks, guys! I ran out of daylight and didn't have time to break down the door to check out the situation. I'll have a full day to spend on her in a week or two. I'll letcha know how it goes!
