Pricing on T&E Carbon Fiber Hood?
Did anyone ever get pricing on the T&E Carbon Fiber hood?
I need to get a carbon hood asap, so any help would be appreciated.

Emerald- I mailed you about pricing. Please give me a shout back at turbolexus@mchsi.com about the carbon pieces you sell.
Lex Luthor-
We had the car put all together and running, however the converter I had gotten for the powerglide that was supposed to be a 4200 stall would only stall to about 3700 rpms. We sent it back, and apparently if we want it to lock up then we would not be able to get a bigger stall, and with the SP88 3700 will not make any boost (4200 probably barely would have, we ordered the 4200 when we thought we were going with a 74). Anyways, we couldn't get a converter stall high enough for what we needed, so we had to go with the new SP Turbo 400 setup. this setup will be much more driveable, damn close to being as strong, and we will have a lock up style 4500-5000 stall converter.
Everything is in stock for it to be put back together, except the trans, which is supposed to be in early next week. Hopefully this time when it is put back together it will actually stall like we need it to!
BTW, I have a powerglide complete conversion for a sc300 or supra for sale if anyone is interested! Right now it is a waste of $6k sitting here, but I would sell it for like $4k is someone wanted it all, and it has less than a mile on it all!

I like the TH400 over the PG any day, Ethan. Like you said, similar strength, plus you won't have to deal with that 2-speed on the street, and if I remember correctly, the Turbo 400 has a much lower first. I'm surprised that you couldn't get a 4500-5000 stall converter for the PG, with all the guys using it on the strip, then again I guess most of them don't have call for a lockup unit. Boy, the exhaust energy it takes to get an SP88 going, it's a ****** to have to stall so high, but i'm hoping those 1.4 and better short times will come right off the bat for you, the 'flaco blanco'. Did Em tell you they will also have carbon fibre fenders and boot available soon? I'm waitin' just like you are. Keep me updated bro, i'll ask a couple of locals if they have interest in your PG. Oh, meant to ask you, are you running dry sump or no this season?
